Where it all started…
Carly is from North Wallace, a small rural community in Nova Scotia. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at St. Thomas University, where she honored in Sociology and majored in Psychology. At St. Thomas University, she researched school closures in rural communities. Building on this foundation, she pursued and earned a law degree from the Schulich School of Law in 2023. She was called to the bar in June of 2024, marking the next step in her legal career.
She joined the team at Harris North Law when she began articling and is now an associate at the firm. With a deep passion for family law, she is dedicated to helping families navigate complex legal challenges. Being from a small town, she enjoys the close-knit, collaborative environment of working at a small firm, where she can make a meaningful impact on her clients’ lives.
Her diverse academic background blends a deep understanding of social dynamics with the legal expertise necessary to advocate for justice and equality.
